Henry Ford Museum

Post by Don on November 7 2013

I thought I would share and post the many images I took yesterday at the Henry Ford museum. We always talked about going and finally we did. It's really an awesome place. It's more interesting than I thought it would be. There is definitely a lot to see and well worth the trip!

If you're ever in the mood to go or feeling nostalgic lol, check it out! You'll see things like John F. Kennedy's car he was assassinated in(seeing the car in person was a bit surreal for me because of being one of my favorite Pres(and Lincoln) and all the conspiracy/controversy behind the assassination), Abraham Lincoln's chair he sat in on the day he was assassinated(red chair image in the images below), the bus Rosa Parks was in when she refused to give up her seat(the seat she sat in was the one where you'll notice a light on above her seat in the images below), historical airplanes, cars, trains, items from certain time periods like the industrial revolution and much much more!

Below are some of the many images I took. Hopefully you'll get a good idea of how cool it was!

"If you think you can... or you think you can't... either way, you're right." - Henry Ford

Though the quote above sounds so simple, there is a deep meaning behind this quote. Henry Ford wasn't a man of higher or formal education but a man who understood certain things that most men in those days and even today have no idea about. To put simply and I'll try to explain with a quote from one of my favorite authors: "An educated person is not necessarily a person with an abundance of general or specialized knowledge. An educated person is a person who has so developed the faculties of their mind; who can acquire anything they want or it's equivalent without violating the rights of others." - Napoleon Hill

It is this reason why the names of such people as Henry Ford, Nikola Tesla, Andrew Carnegie, Steve Jobs, etc, will echo forever in eternity and never forgotten.

(I apologize for any blurry images.)
