There seems to be a "trend" these days on the internet where people take image stills from certain movies, TV shows, news shows, etc and caption the image with what supposedly the people in the image might say other than what they are actually saying in the image. They're more commonly known as a meme. Some of the features on this site can help you make some really interesting ones!

Below you'll see an image I created using the collage and captioning features on this site. If you're familiar with The Dark Knight movie trilogy, you'll understand the image below and get the "joke." I basically took many movie stills from the movie and pieced them together on the collage page. Then took the finished collage and uploaded to the caption page and captioned what you see in the image along with adding call-outs and thought-clouds to give it more of a "conversation" appearance between the two characters.

The other image is an image I got from the internet that's pretty popular with what I mean by the trend of captioning images these days on the internet. A lot of people use that particular image when someone makes a post for example on Facebook about accomplishing some task, and then a person would comment with that image basically trying to be funny by saying "Good job! Do you want a cookie for your achievements?! Someone give that man a cookie!," but instead of writing it to that person, they use the image to convey that message to them. It's all silly stuff meant to be funny.

Edit: Added two more images. The Robert Downey Jr image I put together is a popular 'meme' on the internet today where you can use the image to express something where in most cases you don't agree upon and roll your eyes to like with some of the posts/comments I read on Facebook. lol The David Lynch image is an image I put together illustrating the importance of conscious awareness and the expansion of it as pointed out in the quote by David Lynch.
